2025 Recap
During the past year, the Lab RACSE continued to advance its mission in research, education, and societal engagement, achieving significant academic and scientific milestones.
A key achievement of the year was the successful completion of two doctoral dissertations, reflecting the high scientific standards and sustained research productivity of the laboratory. We congratulate Angeliki Kitsopoulou and Panagiotis Lykas on the successful defense of their PhD theses.
The laboratory maintained a strong presence in the international and national scientific community through active participation in major conferences, including the ASHRAE Conference, ECOS Conference, AGRIVOLTAICS Conference, and the ICRES Conference. These activities supported knowledge dissemination, scientific exchange, and the development of new research collaborations.
In parallel, the laboratory enhanced its outreach and societal impact through participation in public engagement initiatives such as the European Researchers’ Night and Climate Week, promoting research communication and sustainability-oriented innovation.
Collaboration with industry was further strengthened through targeted visits to innovative projects and companies, providing insights into the practical implementation of research outcomes and reinforcing the laboratory’s connection with real-world engineering applications.
The laboratory’s achievements during the year were made possible through the collective efforts of its academic staff, researchers, doctoral candidates, students, and external collaborators. Moving forward, the laboratory remains committed to high-impact research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and excellence in engineering education.
