Lab.RACSE Participates in Researchers' Night 2026

On Friday, 25 September 2026, the Laboratory of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Solar Energy (Lab.RACSE NTUA), of the School of Mechanical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), participated in Researchers’ Night 2026, held at the Zografou Campus of NTUA.

Together with our partners from the Hellenic Passive House Institute, Lab.RACSE presented interactive educational experiences based on Virtual Reality (VR), developed within the framework of the European project DiVirtue.

Through these immersive experiences, visitors had the opportunity to explore how digital technologies can transform education and training, making complex concepts related to buildings, energy efficiency, and building renovation more accessible, engaging, and interactive.

Our participation highlighted the potential of Virtual Reality as an innovative educational tool and demonstrated how research can be translated into practical applications that support knowledge transfer and the development of skills for more energy-efficient and sustainable buildings.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand, experienced the VR educational activities, and shared their interest in our work. We also warmly thank the Hellenic Passive House Institute for their invaluable support.
