Open Labs 2026

We are delighted to participate in the Open Labs activities of the National Technical University of Athens, opening its doors to more than 200 school and university students and offering them the opportunity to become familiar with its scope, facilities, and activities.

During the visits, participants were guided through the laboratory’s premises and informed about its research and educational work in the fields of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Solar Energy. At the same time, they were given the opportunity to gain a more direct understanding of modern technologies, applications, and research directions related to energy efficiency and sustainability.

Participation in these activities was a valuable opportunity to engage with both the school and academic community, strengthening the laboratory’s outreach and highlighting the role of scientific knowledge and research in addressing contemporary technological and environmental challenges.

Special thanks are also extended to the Hellenic Passive House Institute and Nektarios Tsakoumakis for their valuable contribution and support in presenting the DiVirtue project.
